Actually any text on white backround is worst for my visual impairment. The luminence of white is always so bright that it blinds everything out of even near possibiliuty to read. I find easiest for everything being very dark grey backround with light gre4en text.. I have a div tag with background-color: #FFFFFF and opacity: 0.08. Inside it is a span tag with the colour white. What can I do to make the white text stand out in the grey background in the parent div? It seems that i cannot increase parent's opacity
body { background: #f5f5f5; } body, input, select, textarea { color: #777; Personally, I am sick and tired of low-contrast text, but they seem not uncommon. Why is it so? Am I the weird one and most people like grey text on white page?. However, the text is appearing as extremely light grey on a white background and it is pretty much impossible to read it. I am working on a brand new computer with a new install of Edge. I have already tried making sure that the theme settings are the default, and changing between dark and light themes to see if it makes any difference. It does.
