11.5 or 12.5 barrel is the way to go. 10.5 and 11.5 are the same when it comes to being insanely loud with a brake. FWIW, I had both 10.5 and 11.5 Noveske's. The 11.5 was better than the 10.5 by quite a bit, I've since sold both. My BAD 14.5 w/ a mid-length gas system is not a whole heck of a lot longer, and it's WAY more accurate, softer shooting, and superior in every way, and I'm a short-gun nut!
