There's nothing quite like Danish filmmaker Lars von Trier's 'Nymphomaniac', a depraved and thrilling descent into an arousing and repulsive marriage of heaven and hell.. "Nymphomaniac: Volume I" is the first half of the journey, and it's filled with dire situations of compulsion and punishment. Even when the helmer makes minor attempts to pull the premise.

Find trailers, reviews, synopsis, awards and cast information for Nymphomaniac: Vol. I (2013) - Lars von Trier on AllMovie. This is not what I expected at all. I will obviously give a full review once volume 2 is also complete, but honestly, my thoughts are pretty positive thus far.
