So gotta hino 258 2014 with a p204f. its had a scr malfunction up on the dash i reset the dpr and it got rid of that previous to resetting i scanned all ecu's no other codes existed went throught the dcu everything and no codes.. after i did the reset the the p204f went out after i cleared it stayed out for a few minutes then came back on.. I have a 2012 Hino 268 with JO8E engine, its throwing codes P2047 and P204F, unable to perform manual regen. cleared codes and was able to drive 100 miles back to base with out issue, next day CEL light came on with Regen light flashing and beeping. unable to clear code this time, remaining code P204F. the driver mentioned that the DEF fluid.
OBD-II fault code P204F indicates a problem with the Reductant System, which is responsible for reducing emissions. A malfunction here can lead to issues with DPF regeneration.. To clear DTC P204F, perform the UREA SCR System Memory Reset. From the Engine ECU Data Monitor and Active Test menu, select Active Test Setting> UREA SCR Related Memory Reset> then follow the prompts to complete the reset.
