To empty the bin of the Dyson v8 vacuum cleaner, ensure the vacuum is turned off and unplugged. Hold the bin over a trash can and press the release button to open the bin's bottom door. Gently shake the bin to remove any debris, and rinse it with water if needed. Allow the bin to dry completely before reattaching it to the vacuum.. Press the red button on the nozzle attachment and remove it from the canister. Hold the canister over a trash can or a large plastic bag. Then, just pull the red lever on the top of the canister straight up to open the bottom and release the dirt inside.
