Something funny is going on with my brand new Multi-Handler 200. The process button cycles through processes as it should, but neither knob works as it should. Either they take a lot of input for a tiny change in settings, such as >1/4 turn to get 1 amp increase-- and/or they actually cycle through processes as they are. Hobart Expert.. I just bought a new Hobart Multi Handler 200 because I wanted one unit to run stick and TIG with. I'm accustomed to my old Miller DialArc HF, and a little Miller.. Hobart's expert fed me inaccurate information. The Multimatic 215 has the slightly softer arc over the Multi-Handler 200 Ran the 200 in MIG mode with C25 and .030 wire on some 1/8" T joints. The arc is crisp. Weld puddle wet out can be sluggish. Impossible to dial all the spatter out. Can get it reasonably fine though.
