I am sorry you are having this issue with your Echo Show. The red indicator light indicates your device's microphones and camera are turned off using the Mic/Camera On/Off button on the device. Also check if there is no update available for your Echo Show. Go into Settings, Device Options, Check for Software Updates.. Echo Show 8 showing red exclamation mark and looping on boot. Our Echo show 8 just stopped working. We turned it off and left it for 5 mins and then turned it on again. Now it just shows Amazon, tries to start up and then shows a red exclamation mark with Echo and loops back to Amazon. We have tried the mute, volume up buttons with no luck.
