Just bumping this thread as this is the first time I've seen a clear Rickenbacker wiring diagram. The diagram is interesting in that it it mixes up the topological and physical locations of the components slightly. I think the most confusing element of the diagram is having the hot leads of the pickups connected to one end of the capacitor.. On my 330 I pretty much live on the middle setting with toasters and .0047 vintage cap. Now that I have a 350 with three pick up figured I would try the fifth knob acting as a volume for the middle pick up. Can't find a wiring diagram though
The lines present on a Rickenbacker wiring diagram can show where the pickups are connected to the electronics, how the power adjuster works, and how the pickups interact with each other.. The diagram is for humbuckers, but you can wire the single coil the same way if you ignore the extra wires and just use your positive (pickup switch) and negative (ground/back of pots) in the same place. This gives you the pot wiring, too.
