98 civic dx with d16y8 swap. Downstream o2 sensor wiring fix!!! Ok all, i have a 98 civic dx, with the ex (d16y8) vtec swap. And the problem i ran into was that the dx cabin wiring harness is not wired for the downstream o2. If you used the ex engine harness this is how you need to wire your o2 sensor directly to your ecu.. I'm installing a d16y8 header on my a6 the only o2 bung is on the down pipe near the cat. Can j just extend my existing o2 sensor wiring or do I need to go with a heated o2 sensor?
