5.7/6.1 Hemi Adjustable Pushrod Instructions The Hemi lifter has approximately .100" plunger travel. The lifter will operate best in the center of its travel. The pushrod length changes .035" for every turn on the pushrod. We suggest 1 ½ turns of pre‐load. Any looser will cause the valve train to be noisier.. CAUTION: The longer push rods are for the exhaust side, and the shorter push rods are for intake side. Customer can you please give a diagram showing a cylinder layout so I know which are the cylinders 1,4,6,7? also what does the numbers in the illustration that you send me for the rocker arm shafts stand for?
