Diddy Kong is a small Kong who lives in the Jungle Kingdom. He has some affiliation with their king, Cranky Kong and is the best friend of the latter's son, Donkey Kong. Diddy Kong's personality largely remains unknown from his brief presence of screentime. What is shown is that he is an advocate supporter for his friend, Donkey Kong. Though he does cheer for Mario when he defeats DK. Diddy.. Diddy Kong is often seen as the sidekick of Donkey Kong throughout the games, with him being a playable character in all kinds of Mario and Donkey Kong games. Despite this, Diddy (voiced by Eric Bauza) only makes a brief appearance in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, with his cameo only consisting of a few lines of dialogue.
