Yoko is a young woman from Littner, a village neighboring Giha, and is introduced as a member of a small resistance against the beastmen. She helps to introduce Simon and Kamina to the surface world, and becomes a member of Team Gurren soon after.. Yoko then begins driving around the opponent in circles, repeatedly shooting at them with her rifle in the process as they fall. Grinding her scooter to a halt, Yoko then has her scooter boost up into the air above her opponent, before aiming her rifle down at the opponent and blasting them back to the ground to finish them off.
