The Vampire Diaries Season 7 finale ended well for "Steroline" fans. It also had Damon Salvatore saving Bonnie Bennett from the vampire huntress spell. However, there were other aspects of "Gods & Monsters" that were sad and terrifying. One question TVD fans have is what exactly was the.. The Armory was an organization that specializes in supernatural knowledge and artifacts. It was located in Grove Hill, Virginia, seven miles from Mystic Falls.[1] Sometime in the 19th century, Enzo's father founded the Armory. In 1790, Beatrice Bennett trapped the sirens within the caves of the vault after they sirened Ethan Maxwell into ringing the corrupted Maxwell bell and destroyed her.
My main objection is that it takes TVD onto new ground. The villains, even the ghosts, on The Vampire Diaries have always been, in the end, very normal and straightforward and easy to understand. This would be entirely new ground for the series. And mixing Lovecraft and The Vampire Diaries seems like mixing oil and water. But time will tell.. In 'The Vampire Diaries', the vault housed a range of magical and dangerous objects, mostly tied to the show's lore. It was a secret place that kept things like the cure for vampirism and significant artifacts connected to the Mikaelson family. For me, it felt like a literal Pandora's box.
