Both the old and the rebooted version of the anime series Fruits Basket holds a special place in the hearts of its viewers, but if compared which one will take the crown?. While the new one focuses much more of the melodrama aspects of the series, the original is more of a comedy. It is really funny. They use interesting cut scenes that weren't really used in the time period of animation.
All of the above is why I chose the Fruits Basket reboot as my introduction to the story, and I recommend you do the same.
