The Mazda RX-7 is a sports car which was manufactured and marketed by Mazda from 1978 to 2002 across three generations. It has a front mid engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and uses a compact and lightweight Wankel rotary engine.. The RX-7 Spirit R featured the same Rotary 13B-REW twin turbo engine as was used in other RX7 vehicles between 1991 - 2002, and are difficult to assess as 'original' without the assistance of Mazda.
